Entry Requirements

You can start your desired study programme at Smart College UK if you meet the requirements.

The admissions documents must be provided in English or German, if they were not issued in one of these two languages, a translation is required. If you need to translate your documents, we can help refer you to our trusted translation partners. You can find more details here.

You’ll acquire fundamental knowledge in the management and finance-oriented business administration courses. Afterwards, you can pick the electives of your choice that suit your interests. Admission Requirements

General academic criteria: 

  • Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate such as A-Levels or IB Diploma and your transcript of records. 
  • Proof of eligibility to study at a university in Germany.
  • A subject-related higher education entrance qualification.

Depending on your chosen programme, academic level, and background, you might need to also take one of the following to make sure you are ready to study with us: 

  • Bachelor Entrance Examination (included in Scholarship Programme).
  • Pathway Programme (for on-campus studies).
Degree without Diploma

Never completed higher secondary school?

We’ve created a way for your to get a Bachelor’s at Smart College UK even if you couldn’t complete or do not have a Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate such as A-Levels or IB Diploma and your transcript of records.

Our inclusion of the A-Levels online study pathway has been approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education and we’ve bundled this course with our bachelor’s programmes. This means you can start your studies as soon as you want to!

Scholarship Programme

Start your online degree with our Scholarship Programme and receive a scholarship up to 80%!

Start in our Scholarship Programme as a participant with immediate access to 50% of your courses. You can do this by taking our Entrance Examination which will be included in your course as part of the Scholarship Programme. Once you have handed in all admission documents and the courses are completed, you can go on to finish your degree.

English Language skills

At Smart College,we teach in English to prepare you for the international market.

We therefore ask for proof of your English language skills*. If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you don’t need to prove your English skills. 

Accepted certifications: 

  • Speexx* B2.2 Certificate (complimentary when signing up with IU)​ 
  • TOEFL (min. 80 points) or 
  • IELTS (min. Level 6.0 out of 9 points) or 
  • Duolingo English test (min. 95 points) or 
  • Cambridge Certificate (min. B grade overall) or 
  • Equivalent proof

*Proof must be provided before the start of the study and must not be older than five years.
